After which ended at 06:46 in the morning, the married women took the pledge of Nirjala fast. Worshiped Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya and Chauth Mata in homes. Along with the puja, the fasting women applied turmeric kumkum and presented wedding material to the married women. Asked for blessings for unbroken good fortune. Late in the evening, women were seen waiting for the moon to rise. Time and again, women stood on rooftops and looked towards the sky. The brides dressed up like brides and worshiped Shiva, Parvati and Karve. On this occasion, he also heard the story of Veeravati related to the festival. There was enthusiasm in every house to celebrate Karva Chauth festival.

    Mass celebrations of Karva Chauth puja were also organized at some places in the city. Among these, public events were held at Sheetala Mata Temple, Cave Temple, Shri Krishna Temple Talaiya of Tila Jamalpura. At the same time, in the Gaurishankar complex of Katara Hills area, women collectively performed the puja of Karva Chauth. Apart from this, in many colonies women collectively worshiped on Karva Chauth.

    The women of Punjabi Sanatan Samaj worshiped Karva Mata and listened to the story of Veera Vaati. Celebrated Karva Chauth festival. Rinku Bhateja of the society told that Sanatan Punjabi Samaj (Women’s Wing) celebrated Karva Chauth by worshiping Karva Mata and listening to the story of Veeravati at the residence of society patron Saroj Kapoor in Arera Colony. Similarly, a collective Karva Chauth puja was performed by the Rathore community. So after the puja, many women reached hotels with their families to have food.
