Cricket fans witnessed an incredible display of power hitting in the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) when Salman Nizar of Calicut Globals smashed 11 sixes in just 12 balls. The stunning batting performance took place during a match against Trivandrum Royals in Thiruvananthapuram on August 30. The Calicut Globals innings was initially struggling, reaching only 115 runs with 6 wickets down by the 18th over. However, a dramatic change occurred in the last two overs as they scored 71 runs, finishing their innings at 186/6. This extraordinary feat has brought Nizar into the limelight, reminiscent of the impact being made by India’s Sanju Samson, who is also creating a buzz ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.
