A violent incident in Khunti district, Jharkhand, left one man dead and another seriously injured after an attack late Friday night. Two friends were riding a motorcycle when they were targeted. The assailants initially threw chili powder into their eyes, causing them to crash. They then used a sharp weapon to inflict fatal injuries. Police arrived at the scene after villagers reported the incident. The body was taken for post-mortem, and an investigation is underway to find the attackers.
The attack occurred near Kocharidih village as the victims were returning from the Saiko weekly market. Choyta Sarukad was confirmed dead. His companion, Singa Munda, was seriously wounded.
