KISS and Jindal Nagar Shine in Rath Yatra Celebrations

The annual Rath Yatra was celebrated with great fanfare at Shrivani Kshetra of KISS and Devbhoomi in Jindal Nagar, Odisha. The day’s events at Shrivani Kshetra included morning rituals, and the Chhera Pahanra ritual performed by Achyuta Samanta. The chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra were pulled by thousands of devotees. The chariot of Devi Subhadra was pulled only by women. The festival included chants and religious recitations. The Gundicha temple hosted the evening Bhajan Samaroh. In Jindal Nagar, the event followed Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra traditions. The majestic chariots started their procession. Naveen Jindal, Shallu Jindal, and Savitri Jindal, played important roles in the celebrations. Naveen Jindal participated in the Pahandi Vidhi and Chhera Pahanra. The Jindal Foundation served the devotees. The Rath Yatra was also streamed online. Celebrations in Jindal Nagar will conclude on July 8 with Niladri Bije.
