Patriotism and cultural exchange took center stage on the tenth day of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat-1/25’ national camp in Koderma. The camp, held under the Bihar & Jharkhand Directorate and guided by Group Commander Brigadier S. Gopi Krishnan (SM) and Commanding Officer Vijay Kumar (SM) of the 45 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, has assembled 601 NCC cadets from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The National Integration Awareness Program was a major highlight, providing a platform for cadets to showcase their respective state’s culture, customs, and heritage through dynamic presentations and performances. Dance and singing competitions further underscored the camp’s mission, fostering national pride, unity, and appreciation for India’s diverse cultural landscape. Lieutenant Santosh Kumar is ensuring information flows effectively via social media and is readily available to resolve cadet queries. The efficient management of the camp is a testament to the combined efforts of Cultural Coordinator Second Officer Abhijit Anand, Girls Cadets Instructors Shivani Sharma, Priyanka Kumari, Lieutenant Alice Minz, Third Officer Naveen Choudhary, and the nine NCC officers representing other states. Subedar Major Arvind Kumar oversees the execution of all activities, supported by JCOs Balwinder Singh, Jatru Tirkey, A.N. Thakur, Champa Murmu, Ghasiitaram, Ravindra Hebram, Chandrahass, and Havildars A.K. Mishra, Ritesh Kumar, Jagan Topo, Deepak Mahto, along with Head Assistant Rajesh Kumar. The ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ national camp serves as an invaluable training ground and a strong platform for reinforcing India’s unity, integrity, and cultural coexistence.
