The KTM 390 Adventure X is slated for an update, introducing electronic rider assistance features similar to those found in the higher-spec 390 Adventure. Dealerships are no longer accepting bookings for the current model, anticipating the arrival of the updated 390 Adventure X in the coming weeks.
The Adventure X will be equipped with advanced electronic features and rider aids, previously exclusive to the top model. This encompasses cornering ABS and traction control, both enabled by the IMU, along with three riding modes: Rain, Street, and Off-road. These riding modes will alter throttle response, power delivery, and the levels of ABS and TC intervention.
Cruise control will be added, providing a significant benefit for riders on long trips. This addition means that all new-generation 390cc KTM 390 models will now feature cruise control as standard. The motorcycle will retain its original mechanical components, including the non-adjustable, long-travel suspension. The 19/17-inch cast alloy wheels will carry over from the previous model. The 373 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine will continue to generate the same performance figures, delivering 46 HP and 39 NM.
Currently, the KTM-390 Adventure X is priced at Rs 2.91 lakh, available in orange and white. With the latest updates, a price increase of approximately Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 is expected, seeming justified given the added hardware and software. The updated KTM 390 Adventure X will become a more comprehensive package.
