Kuldeep Yadav’s Test Match Brilliance: A Delivery for the Ages

Kuldeep Yadav’s excellent form from the Asia Cup has continued into the Test series. The left-arm spinner dominated on the first day of the Ahmedabad Test, taking the wicket of Shai Hope, West Indies’ key batsman. Yadav’s ball was exceptional, leaving Hope clueless. The quality of the delivery prompted comparisons to Shane Warne. This remarkable ball was delivered by Kuldeep Yadav in the 24th over. He bowled the ball wide of off stump, which prompted Hope to attempt a drive. However, the ball spun significantly, catching the inside edge of the bat and hitting the stumps. Hope was bewildered, unsure of what had happened to his off stump. The video of this spectacular delivery is circulating virally on social media. Kuldeep Yadav is back in the Test match playing eleven after 347 days. He was included in the England tour but didn’t feature in any of the five Tests. Yadav, however, did not give up and shone in the Asia Cup, taking 17 wickets and winning the best bowler award. He is now showcasing his talent in the Test series against the West Indies.
