    The ongoing anti-terror operation in the Akhal forest area of Kulgam district, South Kashmir, has entered its ninth day, with tragic consequences. Two Indian Army soldiers have been martyred during the prolonged gunfight with terrorists. The operation, which has become one of the longest in recent history, has resulted in two additional injuries, bringing the total number of injured security personnel to eleven since the operation began. The difficult conditions in the area continue to impact the operation.
