As the Bihar assembly elections draw closer, the political landscape is becoming more charged, with parties exchanging accusations. RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav has launched a sharp critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a recent tweet, Yadav contended that Modi’s electoral strategy would be ineffective in Bihar. ‘Modi Ji, you want victory from Bihar while establishing factories in Gujarat? This Gujarati approach will not succeed in Bihar,’ Yadav wrote. This statement is the latest in Yadav’s series of criticisms against PM Modi. He also criticized the BJP’s response to the alleged insults leveled against Modi’s mother.
Yadav questioned if the PM had instructed BJP members to insult women in Bihar. He warned against the people of Gujarat underestimating Biharis, claiming BJP members were abusing teachers, women, students, pregnant women, the elderly and journalists.
PM Modi, discussing the alleged insults against his mother, voiced his dismay. He stated that these insults were an affront to all women in the country. He highlighted the significance of his mother’s role in his service to the nation. Modi suggested that the sacrifices of a poor mother were incomprehensible to those born into privileged families. He accused them of believing power was their familial inheritance and criticized the RJD’s governance in the past, where crime and criminals were rampant, causing immense suffering for women in Bihar.
