Lancashire secured their place in the Vitality Blast semi-finals thanks to an outstanding performance by Liam Livingstone. In the quarter-final match, Livingstone’s contributions were crucial in both bowling and batting. He first made an impact with the ball, restricting the opposition’s scoring and taking two vital wickets, which kept Kent’s score in check.

Later, Livingstone displayed exceptional batting prowess, scoring a majority of his team’s runs in a rapid-fire innings. He scored 85 runs off just 45 balls, including seven sixes. His exceptional performance ensured Lancashire’s victory and a spot in the semi-finals.
