    Umaria. One of the three companions who were struck by lightning has died. Two other companions are seriously injured. In another case, 30 goats grazing in the forest died when lightning struck them. The shepherds were standing at a distance, due to which their lives were saved.

    Lightning struck three friends

    Three companions of Chandaniya were going to village Rojhin for some personal work, when lightning struck them between Chandaniya and Rojhin. All three companions were struck by lightning. 37-year-old Kamil Khan died on the spot. Two other companions Azimullah Khan and Saqib Khan were seriously injured.

    After the incident, both the injured were taken to Chandia Hospital, where they were given first aid and then referred to the district hospital with the help of 108. Both the injured are currently being treated.

    30 goats also died

    4 villagers had gone to Pipraha Haar to graze their goats. During this time, clouds started thundering in the sky and lightning started flashing. Seeing this, the shepherds gathered their goats to bring them back home from the forest, when lightning struck and 30 goats died.

    It was a good thing that all the people stayed a little behind due to which they were saved, otherwise all the four shepherds would have been struck by lightning. After the incident, Dial 100 was informed. Now all the goat owners are pleading for help from the government and administration. All these people used to earn their livelihood from these goats.

    Among the goats that died were 8 goats of Ram Sevak Kol, 7 goats of Chhote Lal Kol, 5 goats of Babu Kol, 2 goats of Lachhu Sahu, 2 goats of Ram Bhajan Pal, 2 goats of Ramji Kol, 2 goats of Shani Sevak Kol and 2 goats of Bablu Kol.
