The unexpected event happened on August 5, during the launch of The Hundred 2025 (Men’s) at Lord’s. London Spirit and Oval Invincibles, the previous champions, were the teams involved. The fox’s entry onto the field prompted laughter from the spectators. The game was suspended for approximately a minute as the fox made its way around the ground. Daniel Worrall, a fast bowler for London Spirit, was preparing to bowl when the fox unexpectedly appeared.
