A large number of French tourists come here. The French Embassy will work in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department to promote works in the field of culture and tourism. These things were said by Consul General of France in Mumbai, Joe Marc Serre Charle. He reached Bhopal on Friday. Here he met Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director of the department in the office of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and discussed the possibilities of promoting exchange between Madhya Pradesh and France on various aspects in the cultural and tourism sector.
Along with him, Grigore Trimore, Director of the French Institute in India, Emily Jacma, Coordinator of the Alliance Française Network, NP Namdev, Director of the Department of Culture and officials of the Tourism Board were present. Mukherjee invited French film producers and directors for film shooting in Madhya Pradesh.
Will give linguistic training to guides
Bidisha Mukherjee said that the guides of Madhya Pradesh will be trained in French language with the help of the French Embassy, so that they can easily guide the French tourists and make their tourist journey easier. At present 19 guides have been given French language training by the Tourism Board. Now, taking it a step further, front office executives, receptionists and other beneficiaries working in hotels and resorts of the Tourism Department will be made proficient in the French language.
French artists will perform at Tansen Festival
He informed that French artists will give special performances in the upcoming 100th edition of the Tansen Festival. Leading tour operators and travel agents of France will be invited to various tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh. Through this, tourists coming from France will be introduced to the diversity and attraction of tourist places of Madhya Pradesh.
