Naiduniya representative, Ujjain. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s father Poonamchand Yadav died on Tuesday evening. He was 100 years old and was ill for more than a week. He was undergoing treatment at the hospital in Freegunj. As soon as the news of his death was received, the Chief Minister left for Ujjain. He was undergoing treatment at SN Krishna Hospital in Freegunj, Ujjain city. During his visit to Ujjain on Sunday, Chief Minister Yadav also visited the hospital to know about his father’s health. On Monday, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also met him. The last journey will start from his residence Geeta Colony, Ujjain at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 4. The last rites will be performed near Shipra Ghat, Bhukhimata Temple.
Worked in a textile mill
According to the people of the society, Punamchand Yadav’s life was spent in struggle. He also worked in a diamond mill which made cloth. Apart from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, he has three sons and two daughters. As soon as he got the news of his father’s death, Chief Minister Yadav reached Ujjain from Bhopal.

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Digvijay Singh, senior BJP leaders, Congress state president Jeetu Patwari etc. expressed their condolences through internet media on the demise of CM’s father. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the loss of father’s shadow from the head is an irreparable loss of life.

Jeetu Patwari has expressed deep condolences on the demise of the Chief Minister’s father. Apart from him, BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma said that the loss of a father is the biggest blow to a son in his life. This emptiness can never be filled.
