Madhya Pradesh: Woman Arrested for Acid Attack on Friend Over Jealousy and Leaked Video

A woman in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested for allegedly throwing acid on her friend, Shraddha Das. The police have identified the attacker as Ishita, who was reportedly motivated by jealousy and suspicion. Sources indicate that Ishita was envious of Das’s success and believed Das was responsible for the leak of a private video featuring Ishita and her boyfriend. Ishita initially tried to purchase acid using fake documents but was refused. She then enlisted Ansh, who posed as a professor, to help her obtain the acid. The assault occurred on Sunday night, leading to severe injuries for Das, who is being treated in a private hospital. Ishita is now in custody, and the police are searching for Ansh.
