The Vice President of the Mahasamund Municipality conducted a thorough inspection of the Atal Awas, the water tank, and the community hall situated in the Nayapara area of the city. Accompanying the Vice President was Municipal Officer Ashok Salame, along with other officials, to evaluate the condition of these key public facilities and to issue directives for their upkeep. This inspection was part of an ongoing effort to ensure the well-being of the citizens and to maintain the infrastructure of the city.

During the inspection of the Atal Awas, the team observed that the internal streets were littered with waste, leading to unhygienic conditions. The Municipal Officer was directed to immediately arrange for the removal of the garbage and to ensure regular cleaning of the area. It was also suggested that the vacant spaces within the complex could be utilized to create a garden or an open gym, providing recreational facilities for the residents. The Vice President appealed to the residents to actively participate in keeping their surroundings clean.

The water tank inspection revealed that it was in dire need of cleaning, having been neglected for a considerable period. The staff responsible for the water tank was instructed to complete the cleaning within a week. The Municipal Officer was also directed to ensure that all the water tanks in the city are regularly cleaned, given the importance of providing safe and clean drinking water to the public. The community hall, which had been closed for a long time, was also examined. The Vice President suggested that the community hall could be used to provide municipal services to the residents of Nayapara. This would include services such as tax collection, application processing, and other public-related tasks. The necessity of renovating and maintaining the building was also emphasized.

The Sant Ravidas Garden was also inspected. The inspection team found that the underground pipelines were damaged and the lighting was inadequate. The statue of Sant Ravidas also needed to be repainted. The Municipal Officer was instructed to address these issues and to ensure that the garden is well maintained. The Vice President stressed the importance of addressing the identified issues promptly, in order to improve the living conditions and provide better facilities to the residents of Nayapara.
