On Independence Day, Mahindra revealed the Vision S concept, generating excitement for its design and features. The concept is likely to expand the Mahindra Scorpio family, joining the Scorpio N and the Classic Scorpio. The unveiling also included the Vision concepts X, T, and SXT.

The Vision S showcases a distinctive exterior, differing from current Mahindra models. The front features LED headlights and a grille with LED elements and the Mahindra twin peaks logo. The front bumper has a radar unit and parking sensors, and unique features like roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps are present.

The SUV is equipped with rugged cladding for off-road use. The Vision S has 19-inch wheels with star-shaped rims and side-mounted cameras. In the rear, there are inverted tail lamps, a reflector design similar to the Bolero Neo, and a spare wheel on the tailgate with Vision S branding.

Inside, the Vision S features a refreshed layout. A new steering wheel, a fully digital driver’s display with updated graphics, and a new infotainment system are key features. Dual-tone upholstery, redesigned door trims, premium seats, and a panoramic sunroof contribute to the cabin’s appeal. Grab handles provide easy entry and exit.

The Vision S is based on Mahindra’s NU-IQ platform, which also supports the Vision T, SXT, and X concepts. The platform supports SUVs from 3,990 mm to 4,320 mm long and supports various powertrains, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric. It is compatible with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive. An ICE version is anticipated, possibly with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
