    Malvika Raaj was born on September 18, 1990, in Mumbai. Her father, Bobby Raaj, is a film producer, and her grandfather is the celebrated actor Jagdish Raj. Jagdish Raj was known for his frequent portrayals of police inspectors in numerous films during the 70s and 80s. Anita Raaj, his daughter, also became a successful lead actress in the 80s and 90s and continues to be active in the television industry.

    Given her family’s involvement in the film industry, Malvika always aspired to become an actress. Her role in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ as a child artist was a major milestone in her career. She has since undergone a remarkable transformation, and her glamorous style is evident on her social media platforms.

    Besides ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ Malvika has worked in films such as ‘Captain Nawab,’ ‘Shikaar,’ and ‘Swipe Crime.’ She married Pranav Bagga in Goa in 2023 and gave birth to a daughter in 2025, embracing a happy family life.

    Jagdish Raj commenced his Bollywood career with the film ‘Seema’ (1955). He initially played the role of a police officer in ‘CID’ (1956), a character he often repeated in many subsequent films. His filmography includes a range of successful movies like ‘Kaala Patthar,’ ‘Ek Hi Bhool,’ ‘Roti,’ ‘Bobby,’ ‘The Great Gambler,’ ‘Mehboob Ki Mehndi,’ ‘Ilzaam,’ ‘Naseeb,’ and ‘Pyar Ka Bandhan.’

    Anita Raj, 62, entered Bollywood with the film ‘Prem Geet’ in 1981. She starred in movies like ‘Sherdil,’ ‘Clerk,’ ‘Hum Se Na Takrana,’ ‘Billoo Badshah,’ ‘Zara Si Zindagi,’ ‘Zameen Aasmaan,’ ‘Naukar Biwi Ka,’ and ‘Mazloom.’ Anita Raaj has also been a part of TV serials like ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani,’ ‘Tumhari Paakhi,’ and ‘Aashiqui,’ and she currently appears in the popular series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’
