Man Alleges Wife’s Infidelity and Abandonment After Supporting Her Career

A resident of Vaishali district in Bihar has approached the police with a complaint against his wife, accusing her of abandoning him and their daughter after securing a government job. The husband claims he made significant sacrifices, including selling his mother’s jewelry, to support his wife’s education and career. He now alleges that she has left him for another man and is involved in an illicit relationship. The complainant, Pankaj Kumar Sah, detailed his marriage to Pooja Kumari on February 10, 2020. He stated he sold his mother’s jewelry to educate Pooja and secure her a position in the Fire Brigade Department. He claims that during her training, she began an affair with a colleague. Pooja was later posted in Supaul district. The husband alleges that upon discovering her alleged affairs and confronting her, he and their daughter were forced to leave their home. He further claims that when he approached his in-laws, he was threatened. Pankaj has requested the police to file a First Information Report (FIR) and provide him with justice.
