Man in Hyderabad Kills Pregnant Wife, Cuts Up Body

Police in Hyderabad have arrested a man, Mahendra Reddy, for the murder of his pregnant wife, Swathi alias Jyoti. The crime occurred in the Medipally area of Medchal district, Telangana. After the murder, Reddy dismembered the body, concealing some parts and disposing of others. The couple had been living in a rented house in Boduppal for about a month. The victim was 22 years old. Both Swathi and Mahendra Reddy were natives of Vikarabad district. The police are investigating the motive, believed to be related to domestic disputes. Neighbors reported hearing noises and subsequently discovered the body parts, leading to police involvement and the arrest of the husband.
