Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi made a critical statement, widely interpreted as a dig at Chirag Paswan. Manjhi said that those who constantly emphasize their power are not truly powerful, while the truly strong ones reveal themselves when the time is right. He implied that his party has demonstrated its strength across various districts in Bihar. Manjhi further stated that his party believes in discipline within the NDA, desiring the continuation of the Nitish Kumar government to benefit Bihar and the nation. He mentioned the support of his party towards NDA in upcoming elections. He also talked about the Immaganj by-election where Chirag Paswan’s party did not support his party.
