An incident in Kapasan, Rajasthan, has resulted in a police investigation and a wave of political reactions. A man named Suraj Mali was brutally attacked, resulting in broken legs and other injuries. The attack is linked to Mali’s social media posts and videos criticizing BJP MLA Arjun Lal Jingar for failing to provide water to the Raj Rajeshwar pond, as promised. The assailants, who attacked Mali near Goraji Ka Nimbaheda, allegedly warned him against further criticism. The Congress party and the Mali community have strongly condemned the attack, demanding immediate action. The MLA is yet to comment publicly on the case, though the police investigation is underway.
