    Raipur, November 17, 2025/ Naxalism in Bastar is fast moving towards extinction. Under the ‘Niyad Nellannar Yojana’, villagers in the interior areas are being rapidly connected with the basic schemes of the government. Like other parts of the state, Bastar has to be taken to new heights of development. The state government has fulfilled most of its guarantees in a short period of about two years and is continuously striving to make Chhattisgarh a prosperous state. Chief Minister Mr. Sai said this today while addressing the Budhadev Mahotsav organized by the Gada community in Kondagaon.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Sai performed the foundation stone laying and inauguration of 61 development works worth Rs 127 crore. He announced Rs 90 lakh for the construction of the Kongud to Dhanora road, Rs 39 crore for the Keshkal to Vishrampuri road, and Rs 2.71 crore for a 100-seater hostel for Scheduled Tribe girls in village Kudhur. He spoke about providing Rs 1.5 crore for operating multipurpose centers, divyang centers, and coaching centers. Chief Minister Mr. Sai also released the coffee table book (Journey of Dignity: Story of NRLM Kondagaon), a booklet on early childhood care, a helpline number for high-risk pregnancies, a helmet bank, and a supOshOit vikas chart.

    Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the silver jubilee is being celebrated across the state to mark the completion of 25 years of the state’s establishment. He said that there is no shortage of natural resources in the state, and the soil here is very fertile. 18 lakh houses have been approved in the state. Paddy procurement from farmers has started from November 15. Beneficiaries are continuously being benefited under the Matari Vandan Yojana, Tendu Patta Sangrahak Kalyan Yojana, and Charan Paduka Yojana.

    The Chief Minister said that good education is essential to become a good farmer, businessman, public servant, or politician. Therefore, everyone should pay special attention to the education of children.

    MLA Ms. Lata Usendi also addressed the program and highlighted the achievements and welfare schemes of the state government.

    On the arrival of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudeo Sai, a traditional Mohari musical instrument was played collectively to give a warm welcome. Chief Minister Mr. Sai also prayed to Budhadev and wished for the happiness of the state residents.

    Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, School Education Minister Mr. Gajendra Yadav, MP Mr. Mahesh Kashyap, MP Mr. Bhojraj Nag, MLA Mr. Nilkanth Tekam, Kanker MLA Mr. Asharam Netam, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Fishermen Welfare Board Mr. Bharat Matiyara, District Panchayat President Mrs. Rita Shori, Mr. Kamalchandra Bhanjdev, former MP Mr. Mohan Mandavi, former MLA Mr. Shishupal Shori, and Ganda community office bearers Mr. Pradeep Kuldeep, Dr. Kiran Baghel, and Mr. Ashok Chauhan, along with a large number of dignitaries, were present at the program.
