Following the mixed performance of YRF films this year, including the success of ‘Saiyaara’ and the underperformance of ‘War 2’, YRF has announced the upcoming film ‘Mardaani 3’. The first look of the film has been revealed, and the film is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026. The movie will see Rani Mukerji reprising her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film will be directed by Abhiraj Minawala.

Rani Mukerji returns in ‘Mardaani 3′ as top police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, who will be seen solving her most difficult case.’ Rani Mukerji’s previous film was ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’ and ‘Mardaani 2’ was released on December 13, 2019. The budget of the original ‘Mardaani’ was 20 crore, which grossed 59.30 crore worldwide, while the second installment earned 67 crore worldwide with a budget of 30 crore.
