Tragedy struck Pakhunjur, Chhattisgarh, as a family of five attempted suicide by consuming poison. The incident took place in PV 70 Shantinagar village, part of the Chandanpur Gram Panchayat under the Partapur police station jurisdiction. The attempt resulted in the deaths of three young children, who did not survive long enough to receive medical treatment. Their parents are currently hospitalized in critical condition at the Civil Hospital Pakhunjur.
