    Extensive preparations are underway for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mata Sita temple in Punora Dham, Sitamarhi, Bihar, set to take place on Friday. The event is expected to be a significant occasion, with the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alongside religious leaders adding to its grandeur.

    A 50-acre site has been acquired for the comprehensive development of the temple complex, with a total project cost estimated at 165.57 crore rupees. A magnificent temple, rising to a height of 151 feet, is planned for construction on this land. The state government has allocated a budget of 882.87 crore rupees for the comprehensive development of the temple and its surrounding infrastructure.

    The temple and its associated infrastructure are slated for completion within 11 months. The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation will monitor the construction. Construction will begin swiftly after the groundbreaking ceremony, which will be led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The temple complex will include numerous tourist amenities.

    The 20 planned amenities include a temple enclosure, a pilgrim facilitation center, an auditorium, guest lodging, the Mata Janaki Kund Ghat, a community kitchen, the temple entrance, public restrooms, a ceremonial hall, a tourist information center, tensile canopies, e-cart stations, facilities for offering prasad and a kitchen, a museum, a bhajan sandhya venue, a Mithila Haat, a Vedic school and library, a cafeteria and food court, a pilgrim dormitory, and temple road pathways and parking. Punora Dham is a highly revered pilgrimage site for Hindus.
