    The Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, will be holding discussions with various stakeholders today to facilitate the smooth execution of Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms. The GST Council, during its 56th meeting last week, approved a shift from the current four-slab structure to a two-rate system, effective September 22nd. In other news, Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam is on an 8-day visit to India, and he’s scheduled to visit Varanasi today. Simultaneously, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), led by former Chief Minister Mayawati, will initiate the ‘Sarvajan Hitay Jagrook Yatra’ in Bihar today.
