Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Rohan Jaitley, the current President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), and other family members, in a meeting of respect. The late Arun Jaitley’s significant contributions as Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs from 2014 to 2019 were remembered and he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously. Rohan Jaitley, a lawyer and sports administrator, currently leading the DDCA, has garnered praise for his leadership. He is a lawyer by profession in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court and has also been instrumental in the successful staging of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 matches and the launch of the Delhi Premier League.
