Following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Alaska, a letter from Melania Trump has emerged. The letter was given to Putin by former US President Donald Trump. In the letter, Melania Trump highlights the conditions faced by children affected by the conflict. She urges Putin to consider their innocence, transcending the boundaries of government and ideology.

Although the letter refrains from discussing the war itself, Melania tells Putin that he can restore the lost laughter of children impacted by the conflict. She writes, ‘By protecting the innocence of these children, you will serve not only Russia, but all of humanity. You can make a change for these children with the stroke of a pen.’
