    Prime Minister Narendra Modi received birthday wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin during a phone call, expressing his gratitude. During the same conversation, Modi communicated India’s readiness to offer assistance in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. The call followed a discussion with the US President regarding strategies to bring the war to an end. This call marked Putin’s birthday greeting to PM Modi and was their third interaction since early August. The leaders also discussed the status of India-Russia relations. Modi, on social media, conveyed his thanks to Putin, reaffirming his commitment to the ‘Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership’ and emphasizing India’s readiness to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
