Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to a significant Gaza Peace Summit being hosted by Egypt in Sharm el-Sheikh. While the Prime Minister himself will not be attending, Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh will represent India at the high-profile event, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs. This summit is a joint effort co-chaired by former US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aiming to bring together leaders from over 20 countries. Expected participants include UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and heads of government from the UK, Italy, Spain, and France. The core purpose of the summit is to finalize an accord aimed at concluding the conflict in Gaza, thereby promoting peace and stability throughout the Middle East region.
