Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav turned Jabalpur into a hub of patriotism on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, lauding the icon’s life as profoundly motivational. At the grand finale of the Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association’s centenary, he inaugurated key memorials amid cheers from a gathered crowd.

Coinciding with the vibrant festival of Vasant Panchami, the day honored both knowledge and valor. Yadav invoked Netaji’s legendary slogan, ‘Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azaadi doonga,’ which he said continues to rally Indians towards greater national service and sacrifice.

Spotlighting the library’s century-long contributions to Bengali heritage – from arts to spirituality – Yadav revealed its unique connection: Netaji had personally visited the club. The 11-foot stone monument and 8-foot statue, crafted meticulously, embody his bravery and will serve as daily reminders of selfless patriotism.

Arriving post his Davos engagements, Yadav shared the stage with Union Minister JP Nadda and state officials. The event powerfully linked historical reverence with contemporary cultural preservation, inspiring attendees to carry forward Netaji’s vision of a strong, united India.
