The monsoon has become active again in Chhattisgarh. Raipur experienced heavy rainfall overnight and into the morning. The city is now under overcast skies, resulting in a more agreeable climate, but also causing water accumulation in some areas.

The weather bureau has released an alert for light to moderate rainfall across the state for the next five days. A yellow alert is in effect for heavy rainfall and lightning in Surajpur and Balrampur-Ramanujganj districts, and lightning alerts are active in the remaining 31 districts.

On Friday, rainfall was recorded in over 69 locations across more than 24 districts, with an average of 25.51 mm of rain. The maximum temperature was observed in Durg at 31.2 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was noted in Pendra at 22.2 degrees Celsius. Authorities are advising the public to stay vigilant amid the changing monsoon patterns.
