The monsoon season is gaining momentum across India. The hill states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir are under a rainfall alert for the next three days. Delhi is set to experience rainy weather for the next seven days, from July 25th to 30th. On Friday, the minimum temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius and the maximum 36 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy rainfall in Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and the northeastern states.

Heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of Odisha and West Bengal on July 25th. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar from July 25th to 28th, with potential thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds of 30-40 kmph in these areas.

Coastal areas of Karnataka are expected to receive heavy rainfall on July 25th. Kerala is also likely to experience heavy rainfall from July 25th to 29th. Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh may also see heavy rain from July 25th to 27th, accompanied by strong winds of 40-50 kmph.

Goa, central Maharashtra, and Gujarat are forecast to have heavy rainfall from July 25th to 30th. Marathwada is likely to experience heavy rainfall on July 25th and 26th, while Saurashtra and Kutch could see intense rainfall between July 26th and 29th.

Very heavy rainfall is anticipated in eastern Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh on July 27th and 28th. The mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir are also expected to experience rain from July 25th to 30th. Punjab and Haryana are also under a heavy rainfall alert for July 27th and 28th.

The entire northeastern region, including Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Tripura, will continue to see thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate rainfall over the next five days. Very heavy rainfall is expected in these states on July 26th. The IMD warns that heavy rainfall will persist in different parts of the country over the coming days. Waterlogging, landslides, and rising river levels are potential risks in both hilly and plain regions due to the heavy rain.
