    A deeply saddening event has unfolded in the Balodabazar district of Chhattisgarh, where a mother and daughter have died after a snakebite in Thakurdiya village, Kasdol. The incident took place around 4 am on Tuesday. Satvati Pardi, 35, and her daughter Devika, 9, were sleeping on the floor when the snake bit them. They were rushed to the Community Health Center (CHC) for treatment.
