    The event started with Madhya Pradesh anthem. Madhya Pradesh is blessed by nature. State boundaries should not be a hindrance for rivers.

    Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. The enthusiasm for the 69th anniversary of the establishment of Madhya Pradesh remained at its peak on Friday. In the function organized at Ravindra Sabhagam in the capital, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has been blessed by nature. If we look at the origin of Ganga from the Himalayas and the water amount of other rivers, much more water flows from Narmada, Son, Chambal, Tapti etc. Madhya Pradesh is like the motherland of rivers. He said that the state boundaries should not be a hindrance for the welfare of the people through the water resources of the rivers.

    The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister also has the same resolve on the issue of rivers. In this regard, he paved the way for the solution for the important Ken-Betwa River Link Project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project. Ken Betwa River Interlinking Project is India’s first river interlinking project.

    The Chief Minister said that the pace of Parvati-Chambal-Kalisindh project between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan was not increasing for the last 20 years, which has now been approved. Ken-Betwa project will provide irrigation and water facilities to citizens and farmers on a large scale in Bundelkhand.

    This project will work on creating a history. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released a TV commercial focused on Madhya Pradesh. Places of religious, natural and archaeological importance of the state have been shown in this film made by the Tourism Department. The event started with Madhya Pradesh anthem. Many public representatives including Cabinet Minister Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State Krishna Gaur, Lakhan Patel, MP VD Sharma and Alok Sharma were present in the program.

    Talk from mythological past to present development journey

    The Chief Minister said that the state has traveled a long journey since 1956. Here Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile period in Chitrakoot. Lord Shri Krishna also came here to Ujjain and received education. Discussing the development, he said that in the year 2005 there were only five medical colleges in the state, whose number has now increased to 20. The number of medical colleges will increase to 28 in the next two years.
