    Naiduniya representative, Indore. Five state government officials, including Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, filed an application in the High Court requesting cancellation of the bailable warrant issued against them and exemption from personal appearance. The officials have submitted this application in that contempt petition.

    In this, the court has issued a bailable warrant against the officials. The matter is related to the pay scale of an employee. The High Court had ordered the government in April 2024 to give the benefit of pay scale to the employee.

    Despite this, when the employee did not get the benefit, he filed a contempt petition. In this also, no one appeared from the government’s side.

    Advocate Yashpal Rathore, representing the petitioner, said the court had issued a bailable warrant against the officials and asked them to appear on September 11.
