Madhya Pradesh’s Public Works Department will tighten the noose on engineers.

Proposal prepared on the instructions of Minister Rakesh Singh. Many officers are coming under the purview of action. Charge of engineers will be terminated.
State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. Engineers caught taking bribe will now neither be given field posting nor any important work by the Public Works Department. Along with terminating the charge of eight such engineers, they will be transferred elsewhere.
Whereas, action has already been taken against six. Minister Rakesh Singh has also approved the department’s proposal. Departmental officials say that Lokayukta had taken action against Executive Engineer Sanjay Deharia.
He was posted in the Chief Engineer’s Office Sagar but later the Chief Engineer gave him the charge of Superintendent Engineer of Naugaon Division. Similarly, Sub-Engineer Manoj Richaria was given the charge of Section Officer in Jatara Sub-Division.
Assistant Engineer Vijay Chauhan has been appointed as Sub-Divisional Officer in Dindori Division by the Chief Engineer of Jabalpur Zone, Assistant Engineer BK Mathur has been appointed as Executive Engineer in-charge Ashok Nagar and the Chief Engineer has given additional charge of Executive Engineer of Guna. The charge of all these will be terminated.
At the same time, Executive Engineer SC Verma will not be given any important work now. Executive Engineer Ramdas Chaudhary has been given important work in the Chief Engineer’s office, which will be taken back.
He has been posted at the same place for nine years. Similarly, Executive Engineer Kamal Singh Kaushik has also been given important tasks in the office of Superintendent Engineer in charge. Transfer of Executive Engineer in charge Rajgarh Dharmendra Jaiswal and Assistant Engineer BK Mathur is also proposed.
