Lord Mahakal’s first Saavan procession started in Ujjain
Four lakh devotees took darshan of Lord Mahakal. Devotees from all over the country reached Ujjain on the first Monday of Sawan to visit and worship Lord Mahakal. The temple management committee has estimated darshan by nearly four lakh devotees. Among them, more than one lakh devotees participated in the procession of Lord Mahakal taken out in the form of Manmohan on the first Monday. On Monday, 2200 devotees took darshan of Bhasma Aarti.

Heavy rain alert in the state for next 3 days
Rainfall in Madhya Pradesh has caused heavy rainfall in Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Bhopal and Narmadapuram. According to weather experts, heavy rainfall is expected in eastern Madhya Pradesh, while other areas may receive moderate rainfall. Omkareshwar-Mamleshwar procession started
The process of visiting Omkareshwar-Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga started from dawn on Monday. According to tradition, Lord Omkareshwar-Mamleshwar toured the city in a palanquin and went boating in the lap of Maa Narmada. Before this, the Lord was saluted by the armed police force. After touring the city from four in the evening to nine in the night, the procession reached the temple. This process will continue till the fifth Monday of Sawan and two Mondays of Bhado.
A woman’s half-burnt body was taken out from the burning pyre
In Rajgarh, the body of a woman was taken out from the burning pyre. The woman’s parents had expressed the suspicion of murder, after which the body was taken out in the presence of police and sent to Rajgarh for post-mortem.
