Naiduniya Representative, Jabalpur. Madhya Pradesh Medical University has postponed the exam date of the first year of nursing courses of session 2021-22 by about a month and a quarter. This exam will now be conducted in September. The university has released the revised schedule of the exam. On July 29, the High Court has given instructions to include students of ineligible nursing colleges in the examination as well. Under this order, pre-examination enrollment is to be issued to the students of the concerned colleges.
To complete the process, the university has postponed the question papers proposed from 6 August. Now the examination will be held next month on the new date. Earlier, it was announced that the examination of first year post basic B.Sc. Nursing will be held from 6 August, B.Sc. Nursing from 8 August and M.Sc. Nursing from 18 August.
This is the whole matter
The university had made preparations to conduct the examination of the students of session 2021-22 of 169 nursing colleges found eligible in the CBI investigation and 73 deficit (with some deficiencies) nursing colleges. Now it has been decided to include the students of 66 nursing colleges found ineligible in the CBI investigation in the examination.
At the same time, about 130 nursing colleges of Gwalior-Chambal division have taken a stay from the Supreme Court against the CBI investigation. In such a situation, now the examination of 450 nursing colleges of all categories will be held simultaneously. There will be more than 30 thousand candidates. The process of enrollment of nursing students who have got relief has been started.
You can apply till 9 September
The university has changed the dates of the question paper of the session 2021-22 and has also revised the date of examination application. Students have been allowed to apply till 9 September without late fee. After this, applications will be accepted for 2 days with a late fee of Rs 500. The application process will be online. The college management will be responsible for checking the names, qualifications, enrollment and other details of the admitted students uploaded on the portal. The principal of the concerned college will be responsible for any discrepancy.
As per the court’s instructions, preparations for the nursing examination of session 2021-22 have been started. To avoid further delay in these examinations, the working council has already taken a decision in the interest of all the students. Some time was needed for the enrollment process of the students of the remaining colleges. Therefore, the exam dates have been revised.
