    Raipur 20 December 2024/Mahtari Vandan Yojana is improving the lives of women of Chhattisgarh. Women are fulfilling the needs of their household with the one thousand rupees they receive every month. Some women are moving towards creating a new way of earning their living by making good use of this amount. Parvati Soni, a resident of Manendragarh development block of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district, bought a sewing machine with the financial help received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana, through which she is now becoming financially strong.

    Mrs. Parvati Soni said that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees is reaching her account every month. Due to the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, today one thousand rupees are coming into my bank account every month. This is a boon for women like me. Mahtari Vandan Yojana is being successful in the objective of ensuring better role of women in the family, removing discrimination, inequality and lack of awareness towards women in the society, improving health and nutrition level and promoting economic self-reliance and empowerment. .

    It is noteworthy that Mahtari Vandan Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 10 March 2024. About 70 lakh beneficiary women of the state are being given financial assistance of one thousand rupees every month. From March to December, financial assistance of Rs 6530 crore 41 lakh has been given to the beneficiary women in 10 monthly installments.
