Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim shared his perspectives on the IPL Qualifier 2 match, favoring Mumbai Indians (MI) to win against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He cited MI’s strong form, particularly their bowling attack, as a key advantage. Additionally, Karim expressed his support for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), hoping for their maiden IPL victory.

Karim’s views were expressed at the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative held in Delhi. He pointed out MI’s dominance in contrast to PBKS’s defeat against RCB. He also praised the strong batting performance of MI against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the eliminator.

He also highlighted the excellent form of Virat Kohli, hoping for RCB to win the IPL. Furthermore, he discussed India’s upcoming tour of England, highlighting the opportunity for a young team under the captaincy of Shubman Gill to excel.

Karim also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of young talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi, appreciating the increasing reach of the game. He acknowledged Suryavanshi’s remarkable performance in the IPL.
