In Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat commented on the root causes of conflict, stating that extremism is the primary instigator of anger, hatred, and warfare. He made his observations at a ceremony held after offering prayers at a Shiva temple. He suggested that overcoming these issues can be achieved through devotion to Lord Shiva.

Bhagwat elaborated on the significance of a life characterized by humility and empathy. He stressed the need to be compassionate towards all and to avoid prioritizing personal achievements. He highlighted that true devotion to Shiva is demonstrated through daily efforts towards a pure and virtuous lifestyle.

Prior to the main event, Bhagwat visited an exhibition that showcased historical weapons, including the famed ‘Wagh-Nakh’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He urged everyone to see the display to learn about their heritage of valor. This exhibition, ‘Shivashastra Shaurya Gatha,’ features various historical weapons used by the Maratha warriors.

Bhagwat also addressed the current state of the world, noting that it is undergoing a period of change. He mentioned that humanity’s actions will dictate whether this leads to progress or destruction, emphasizing the critical role that India will play in global leadership.
