The visit also featured the awarding of the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III, Cyprus’s highest honor, to PM Modi by President Nikos Christodoulides. PM Modi dedicated the honor to the people of India, emphasizing the shared values and strong ties between the two countries. The visit, which occurred after more than two decades since the last by an Indian Prime Minister, also included meetings with the Indian community and business leaders, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations.
