    Raipur, December 13, 2024/ A nationwide National Lok Adalat will be organized on Saturday, December 14, 2024, under the auspices of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi, to settle cases through mutual conciliation. Lok Adalat will also be organized by the State Legal Services Authority (SALSA) Bilaspur in all the district courts and civil courts of the state. This will be the fourth Lok Adalat of the year 2024.

    On the day of Lok Adalat, cases of compoundable offenses pending in District Court and Taluka Court (Vayakar Court), cases related to motor accident claim, check bounce case under 138 NI Act, section 125 Code of Criminal Procedure and matrimonial dispute, besides water tax, property Tax, revenue related matters, traffic challan, fare control, excise related matters and pre-litigation matters related to bank electricity, mutual distribution among account holders in the Revenue Court bench, The division among the heirs will be settled. National Lok Adalat is an effective step towards reducing the huge number of pending cases in courts and providing quick and accessible justice to the affected parties.

    Various cases and pre-litigation will be resolved by constituting division benches for the National Lok Adalat. Criminal cases compoundable in court through Lok Adalat Section. 138, Negotiable Instruments Act, motor accident claim cases, bank recovery cases, civil cases, execution cases, electricity related cases and family dispute cases are resolved. Apart from this, pre-litigation cases pending recovery in Revenue, Bank, Electricity Department, Telecommunication Department, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayat will be presented to the District Legal Services Authority. After due registration, the cases of the concerned parties will be resolved in the Lok Adalat division bench. In this way, parties can get their court cases resolved through Lok Adalat. Apart from this, recovery related cases pending in Telecom Department, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council in Lok Adalat, pre-litigation case, division on the basis of memory, motor accident claim case, bank recovery case, division on the basis of possession, Indian Justice Code (BNS -2023), cases related to Rent Control Act, land rights as well as cases of transfer of name on the basis of sale deed, donation deed and testament and others. All cases of this nature will be included and identified and resolved through National Lok Adalat on the basis of mutual agreement.
