Sukma: The nefarious conspiracy of Naxalites in the district has been thwarted by security forces. 5 kg IEDs installed to damage security forces by Naxalites near village Banda on Konta-Golapalli Road under police station Konta area were recovered and destroyed on the spot.
The security forces led by SP Kiran Chavan got this great success. The 228th Battalion of CRPF and a joint team of District Police discovered this IED during the campaign. Security forces are continuously running search operations in the area under the informant information and dimensing campaign.
