Palamu police have taken steps to apprehend wanted Naxalites Shshikant Ji and Mukdev Yadav by posting court-issued notices at their homes and in public areas. The notices serve as a warning for the duo to surrender. The notices were issued in connection to an encounter in Tarahasi police station area. If they fail to comply with the warning, their properties will be seized.
The incident involved a clash between police forces and Shshikant Ji’s TSPC squad in the jungles of Sinjo Mahuvari, which occurred on May 2, 2025. After the exchange of fire, Shshikant Ji and the other Naxalites managed to escape. Police are now intensifying efforts to locate the wanted individuals.
