Navdunia representative. A woman in Ayodhya Nagar area committed suicide by hanging herself. The woman was married last December and was five months pregnant. On Saturday evening, when the husband came home from work, he found the woman’s body hanging from a noose. After which the Ayodhya Nagar police station registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem and started the investigation.
Head constable Jagdish Tiwari, who is investigating the case, said that 24-year-old Lakshmi was a resident of Nepal. She came to Bhopal a few months ago and lived with her friend in Jheel Nagar of Ayodhya Nagar area. It is not clear whether the two were married or not, but after a few days of living together, the friend left her and ran away.
After which she became friends with Ravi Jatav who lived in the same area and both of them got married on 9 December 2023. The woman’s husband Ravi works in the industrial area. When he returned home from work on Saturday, the door was locked from inside, he knocked but it did not open, in such a situation the suspicion increased and then the gate was broken. After which his wife was seen hanging from the noose.
