Maruti Suzuki is set to release a hybrid version of the Fronx. This will be an attractive alternative for those considering the CNG versions of the Baleno, Fronx, or Swift. Hyundai has announced the launch of the Bayon, a compact crossover hybrid model. The Bayon will be powered by a new 1.2-liter Kappa engine, which will be the foundation for Hyundai’s hybrid lineup in India. The engine aims to fit between the existing 1.0-liter engine and the 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki is also planning a new 5-seater SUV, potentially named Escudo. This SUV will be positioned between the Vitara Brezza and the Grand Vitara, competing with vehicles such as the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. The Escudo will target buyers seeking a more luxurious SUV experience than the Vitara Brezza but at a lower price than the Grand Vitara.
