The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway has been completed, following an eight-month delay. This 67-km route is designed to allow for a 30-minute journey from Bandikui to Jaipur. The project, which cost around ₹1,368 crore, is a four-lane, access-controlled highway allowing vehicles to travel at 120 kmph.

The route’s length is split almost evenly between the districts of Dausa and Jaipur, spanning 32.7 km and 34.1 km, respectively. Five toll plazas have been built, with a virtual plaza added at Shyamsinghpura. Car drivers will pay around ₹150 for a one-way trip. Although originally scheduled for completion by November 2024, the project faced delays. However, all construction is now finished, and the required road safety audit is done. The inauguration date depends on the approval of the Union Road Transport Ministry.

The expressway is expected to open to the public by June 2025. This will significantly shorten travel times between Bandikui and Jaipur and improve access to Delhi-NCR. The new corridor will begin at Bagrana on the Jaipur-Agra Road, enabling those traveling toward Delhi to reach their destination in approximately two and a half to three hours.
